Sharon Prince Of Grace Farms Foundation: A New Way Of Leading


Grace Farms is a non-profit center that is located on an 80-acre site in New Canaan, Connecticut. It is operated by Grace Farms Foundation, an organization that is focused on “advancing faith, nature, arts, community, and justice initiatives.” Enhancing lives, the center is a space shared by the public and other non-profit organizations.

Sharon Prince currently serves as Grace Farms Foundation’s Chair and President. Established in 2009, Grace Farms Foundation and the Grace Farms center have received numerous awards since its launching and opening, respectively. AIA National 2017 Architecture Honor Award, Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize, and the 2016 Innovation by Design Award for Social Good are some of the notable awards previously received by both the foundation and the center. Recently, Sharon Prince was appointed to the 2018 AIA Architecture Jury.

Before Grace Farms, Sharon Prince acquired her Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Business Administration degrees at the University of Tulsa. She was also the former President of the outerwear brand, 66North.
