The New Importance of Online Reputation Management

In the world of online business, online reputation management has become more and more important. It used to deal with reversing negative Google search results. but now it involves coming up with a strategy to promote a company’s brand. Here are a few reasons why companies should pay attention to ORM.

* Customers will post messages, both positive and negative.
* Brands that did not pay enough attention to customers changing attitudes have
suffered.
* 68 percent of customers trust reviews that have been posted online.
* 86 percent of buyers can be influenced by negative online reviews.
Here’s a good reason why companies should pay attention to customer reaction. 24 percent of American adults have posted comments about products or services they have purchased. Positive reviews from customers can help you a little, but bad reviews can have five times more impact on the negative side.
Word of mouth about products and services have become increasingly important when it comes to online perception of a company and what it has to offer. Customers especially believe in word of mouth assessments when it comes from relatives and friends.
Online reputation management should be seen on a global scale even if your company has not reached that point in scope. If you focus on good quality customer service your reputation may shine past even your customer base.
Too many bad reviews can do harm to a company in an immediate fashion. With the use of ORM there are ways you can start to bounce back. If negative reviews are a part of only a few total reviews, ORM can use methods to get more total reviews, hoping that a good portion of them will be positive. If the negative reviews are legitimate, then a company has to quickly solve the problem, or put out an improved product or service.
In some cases a company has no control over super negative comments they may receive. Some action can be taken if there is defamatory language used. If there is intent to damage a company’s reputation, or if the information spread is blatantly incorrect.
The Search Fixers is an example of an Online Reputation management company that will help companies reverse negative press they are experiencing on the internet.
They are currently offering thirty percent off the first month of a subscription for the ORM service.

S’Well Aims To Rid The World of Water Bottles And Strengthen The Environment

Water bottles are one of the biggest offenders of recyclable items that end up in landfills, they only offer a single use and are far from environmentally friendly. Entrepreneur, Sarah Kauss, is seeking to put an end to wasteful plastic water bottles. She created a line of stainless steel, insulated water bottles that have the ability to keep beverages hot for 12 hours and cold for 24, those are some pretty impressive numbers. Her company is aptly named, S’Well. Since their creation in 2010 the company’s sales have continued to climb and has reached $10 million last year in revenues. Those sales numbers are expected to continue to grow.

Kauss and her rise to success was recently featured on CNN for her accomplishments, she is definitely an up and coming business woman. Her company is still working to better the natural environment no only by reducing landfill waste, but also by planting new trees in American forests. In fact, for every bottle, with the wood theme, sold there is a tree planted. So far S’Well has planted 20,000 trees. If positive sales and reviews were not enough the company gained even more popularity after Oprah added their bottles to her list of necessary summer items. One thing is for sure, S’Well isn’t going away any time soon.

I wish that Joseph Bismark was my boss!

It is amazing in this day and age to find a business man as well grounded as Joseph Bismark. His thoughts on creating harmony in the business place is quite honestly refreshing. To utilize his success to administer peace and goodwill in the corporate world is almost never heard of. When everyone else is trying to selfishly look out for number one it is good to know that maybe there are still truly great men as business leaders in our society. That Joseph Bismark has found a way to incorporate his spiritual values in the work place is commendable indeed.

Instead of trying to find happiness in the next luxury car, the next fabulous vacation and the next purchase of a luxury home Joseph realized that true happiness comes from within. Joseph Bismark has definitely broken a lot of the rules for bosses and businesses everywhere. He has shown real empathy for his employees and made it his mission to help everyone in the corporate world find some inner peace and stability. Most bosses in this day and age only truly care about profit, and what they miss is that only when your employees and business partners are in harmony can a corporation really fully move to the next level. If other businessmen started to think outside of the box like this great man I believe the world might just become a better place. I have seen some of his videos and blogs and he is truly inspirational.

I found an article on the WordPress blog Bring On The Random that I found insightful.I hope his messages of prosperity through peaceful environments spread far and wide because it is a directive to often neglected, especially in the workplace.

We can’t all have an amazing boss like the incredibly humble Joseph Bismark. We don’t all have the means to learn about inner peace on our journey of life to the mountains of the Phillipines. But we can take his messages and incorporate them on a daily basis and hope. After all, Hope is putting faith to work when doubting would be easier.
